Most of my time online at the moment is spent following the election latest. But since the airwaves (or the internet equivalent) are clogged with the ridiculous non-story about Gordon, the Microphone and the Granny, I’m taking a break this lunchtime to blog.
Just read a very interesting article by a literary agent, about the “gentlemanly” nature of publishing. And why it’s bad for business. It’s by a man who used to work in advertising and is nonplussed by the pussyfooting and unwritten codes of the book world:
He’s also set up an interesting writing site called “Litopia”. If you’re a writer, check it out. I think I’m going to join myself. Utopian goodness.
