That’s what’s on my mind apart from the election today. Where will digital publishing lead us? Which platforms will prevail? What does it mean for the children’s/illustrated market? How will the nature of reading change – will we break down the distinction between viewing and reading? Which business models will publishers adapt? Or should book publishers be hiding and quivvering in bunkers?
No, certainly not that last one. It’s a very exciting time. But I do feel a little like an overexcited cat confronted with dozens of mice… which should I chase?
